Health, education and business are current Minnesota issues. These bring us opportunity. The future is on our doorstep. These issues involve our lives and our children’s lives.
Join these ‘life marathons’. These issues are ongoing. Bring your personal resources. Bring your experiences. Put on your running shoes. Lace ‘em tightly. The race is on in health and education. Be a runner! There is a place to participate. Come on out. Race with Rae! We have a good thing going right around the corner, and you’re needed. Look at you. You’re in motion? You’re valued! Bring a neighbor along. Stay strong. Take heart!
We can RUN. We won’t HIDE. TOGETHER WE WIN. Feel the JOY…smiles return when we do it right. Even a kindergartner knows right and wrong. We aren’t confused. The problem is ‘we the people are ignored’. We are not asked for advice by our representatives, who ignore us once ELECTED TO SERVE US. But this is still America, not AMERIKA. One of us still counts. You count. Read your BILL OF RIGHTS. USE IT.
As a licensed teacher, a health care provider and board certified nurse practitioner, as a small business owner and an avid volunteer, Rae effectively prioritizes issues in education, health care and business. Her extensive education in public health, biostatistics, addictions, child development, maternal health, research, clinical trials, community education and service, adolescent health, educational psychology, health education, family counseling and adult education…all of this can and will benefit our district. These developed resources and strong experiences keep her involvement at the Senate level credible. She will work FOR US and FOR OUR DISTRICT–while respecting our environment–but keeping people PRIORITY–AS PEOPLE SHOULD BE. People take priority in the REAL WORLD OF WORK, FAMILY AND COUNTRY.
We GET TO HAVE ONE SENATOR who ACTUALLY works for our district; one who stops ducking OUT OF OUR ISSUES. Rae is here and prepared and bold on our behalf. Turn this district around with the people here being priority. Doing the right thing is important, starting with our own population.
Experience–and Rae has it. She’s worked the night shift at the hospital, served newborns and Moms, hugged and fed and treated the elderly and made sure they had help needed, done home health visits for youth at risk for addictions in the inner city–in dangerous terrain, worked in special education at home and in health care at home with children who have disabilities. She has worked in rural health care, worked with truant youth in corrections and clinically treated all ages and genders in corrections. Health care for offenders happens just by listening to their issues, at times. She has also been an advocate for their medical needs with referrals to specialists, including the Chaplain, and by prescribing medications, laboratory tests and follow-up appointments to let them know they need to pay attention and participate in their own health care. Health care empowerment through prevention and participation is Rae’s message to every person needing care.
She has worked with seniors and with the elderly in their homes and in elder care facilities. She knows health care’s grass roots, but has worked in health administration and as co-owner of a health related business, and in case management. Rae has written and edited health letters and coached for wellness in occupational and work settings. Rae has worked with local clients right here, and with internationals who are new to American health care.
These actual life career experiences have prepared her to serve us and to hear us and lead us into a better future–together.
Rae has taught in rural Minnesota as a licensed teacher. She has worked in public schools as paid staff, as a public school tutor and volunteer prom Mom and room Mom. She has worked as a staff member in private schools, in charter schools and she home schooled two of her four children. She has parented several foster children, and had an exchange student from Mexico City living with her family. She is licensed to teach in California and Minnesota–and these states do differ in important ways. Rae is ready. She could teach a thing or two about our district to those who overlook our area due to the “upper crust” oriented inhabitant of our capitol cubicle.
District 50 has potential and good people who deserve to be HEARD AND REPRESENTED ON EVERY ISSUE. Sure the ducks need help, but let’s prioritize “people-land” over “swamp lands”. Guess ‘who’s’ ducking out of people issues that count for all of us here in Senate District 50.
Rae is not from the government. She lives next door, right here. She can help make these two issues work better for all of us. Education and health care and taxation and new laws and business and families and faith and corrections and the media’s message that repeats nonsense too often–these are important to our own nearby citizens. We must make choices on vital issues.
Don’t look away for a moment. Track issues important to all of us, for the good of your kids and for the future of all of us. Awake and aware–that’s our m.o.
Don’t fear the future. Stare into it unblinkingly. Participate. Make it better because you can–step up to these issues. You know more than you think you know! You have experience in education and in health care. YOU KNOW WHAT WORKS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. Guess what…that knowledge will probably be useful FOR ALL OF US. Step up to the plate on these issues. Be yourself and add to OUR momentum. Move into the future with no fear. Bring a friend and be ready for the next opportunity.
Our children will thank us for keeping the future friendly for them in education, in health care, in business, in lifestyles with laws that defend our rights! Our children do not need laws that conquer, over tax us, control our speech and our creativity while eliminating our input into our own government. At times MN government eliminates our businesses and members of our family, legally, through an unfair business climate, and through abortion and euthanasia and laws that attack the vulnerable. Our lives and the lives of our loved ones are needing protection. Insight and oversight are very different. Join in to make MN a habitat for humanity, for US.
</strong>
Believe again. Find the joy inside you. Reach out and join in.
Your input counts now, before you vote! We can get involved. We will strengthen our grip on our values and keep the future friendly for our children. There are enough of us who care. We believe again in the value of one, and the strength of our united determination! Speak, give, communicate, JOIN ME! Move up from discouragement into ACTION. We have great neighbors who value our way of life, yet see it needs IMPROVEMENT.
We will not permit the media to define us or distract us.
Rae reminds us, “I’m your interactive senate candidate for Minnesota Senate District 50’s seat at the capitol. I’m believing again…in you and me working it out together! Never give up! Join up.”

God Bless You and our state of MN,
Rae
